Concurrent Running (THE LEGAL WAY TO CHEAT)

In order to get to the post-run festivities, concurrent running is utilized beginning with Leg 6. Having too much fun, been lost for hours, running behind, then send your next runner off before your previous runner finishes.

  1. Declare to the world, “I am a cheating Bastard” as you depart.
  2. Note the cheater departure time ,”CDT”, the time of day that the next runner departed early in Column C.
  3. Note the late runner arrival “LRA” time, the time of day that the incoming runner arrives in the Column D. Get in the car and head to the next exchange. Hopefully, vehicle beats the cheating bastard to the exchange or they wait.
  4. Subtract Column C from Colum D, CDT – LRA, to obtain Cheat time and enter in Column E.
  5. Turn in card at the Finish Line within 5 minutes of finishing. That’s all folks.


Team must concurrent run if directed by a race official. Concurrent running will get you to the post race party.
This is a sample card, the Real Cheating Bastard Card will be included in Race Packet.

  • DO NOT RECORD YOUR ELAPSED TIMES ON THIS CARD. DO NOT RECORD YOUR TOTAL RUN TIME ANYWHERE ON THIS CARD.
  • There will be NO CHEATING UNTIL LEG #6 - STRIPPER SUCKS
  • RECORD THE AMOUNT(S) OF TIME WHEN THERE ARE 2 RUNNERS ON THE COURSE.   ARRIVAL_TIME MINUS DEPARTURE_TIME EQUALS CHEAT_TIME  
  • Add the individual leg cheat times and place the result where indicated.
  • TURN CARD IN AT THE FINISH LINE WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF FINISHING
  • YOU WILL GET 16 HOURS CHEAT TIME if we don't like or don't have your card.
